I want to use DVBdream on my mediacenter PC, unfortunately this has no common interface to install a CAM for reading my smartcrad, therefor I want to read it from a dreambox which a free card slot. I now use wincsc 1.20 and can connect to the dreambox to read my card (using newcamd cardserver on the dreambox) However it seems that no new EMM packets are written to the card despite enabling it in the inifile of wincsc.
Is there anther version of wincsc that is able to send the EMM packets or is there a setting I shoud change, or i there anaother pluging I could use with DCBdream. (great program by the way !)
Thats a pity, hopefully someone will develop one soon.
For the mean time it seems I have to use as workaround using cnxcam and a phoenix card reader attached to the PC when I want to update the card.
It would be much easier if I could do that via wincsc and the dreambox.
